As if DUMBO needed to get any cooler, last week, Art in DUMBO announced DUMBO Open Studios, a weekend where artists throughout DUMBO will open their studio doors on Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 1 – 6 PM. Artists across DUMBO will welcome the public into their studios and workspaces, creating the opportunity for visitors to engage directly with the emerging and established artists at the center of DUMBO’s thriving arts community.

“Artists have lived and worked in DUMBO for several decades and we are excited to have an incredible roster of artists and institutions that call the neighborhood home, including three studio residency programs,” said Lisa Kim, Cultural Affairs Director at Two Trees. “DUMBO Open Studios will provide an intimate look into the artists and art making process in DUMBO.”
