Last night, December 6, Artsy Projects Miami Presented by Gucci and BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Gin celebrated the works of artists FlucTSamara Golden, Maria Nepomuceno, and Jillian Mayer. Held at Miami hotspot The Bath Clubthe exclusive fete featured a special performance by Devonté Hynes (better known as Blood Orange.)

A few hours into the fete, FlucT took the center stage and performed a violently intimate dance that left the audience speechless. The performance addressed issues in the capital obedience of American culture and aim to expose the psychology of social paradigm.

As Devonte Hynes began to play a piano ballad, A$AP Rocky out of nowhere jumped onstage to tell the crowd to quiet down. Talk about #bestfriendgoals, A$AP Rocky shouted, “If you want to talk right now, get the fuck out the room mother fuckers, there’s an artist on stage.” See our instagram story for the full smackdown.

Art and fashion worlds collided as guests explored the role of artists within the shifting currents of today’s culture through a live, multi-sensory experience that drew themes from past and present trends. As the night went on, attendees enjoyed specialty cocktails by Bombay Sapphire inspired by the artists’ creations and small bites.
